Frequently asked questions
Clear Answers About Working With NG
Review common questions about federal bid support, administration teams, pricing, prime partnerships, and federal compliance.
Federal bid support
Bid and Proposal Services
Does NG guarantee that we will win?+
No. Government agencies make award decisions. NG organizes agreed administrative requirements, but no service guarantees an award, funding, eligibility, or compliance.
Does NG submit the bid for us?+
The bid is submitted under the client’s company. NG may help organize the package and process when included in scope, but the client must review and authorize the final submission.
Who determines pricing and signs the proposal?+
The client determines final pricing and its authorized representative signs proposals, certifications, representations, amendments, and other required documents.
What happens when an amendment changes the work?+
NG reviews amendments included in the agreed service period. A substantial change may require a revised timeline, added client information, or a separate flat-fee quote.
Can NG help after an award?+
Yes. Post-award administrative support may include deadlines, modifications, correspondence, invoice documents, supplier files, and closeout organization under a separate written scope.

Virtual Professionals and Teams
Will the professional be trained for our company?+
Yes. NG coordinates role preparation using the client’s approved procedures, systems, scripts, templates, terminology, and expectations. The client provides company-specific knowledge and final approval.
Can the team support different types of businesses?+
Yes. Roles may be structured for government contractors, suppliers, professional-service companies, real estate, property management, staffing, logistics, technology, and other businesses when the proposed responsibilities are appropriate.
Can responsibilities change after service begins?+
Responsibilities may be adjusted through a revised written scope when the work remains suitable for the personnel, systems, access controls, schedule, and pricing.
Who supervises the administrative professional?+
The client provides approved priorities, procedures, and feedback. Personnel management and the contractual relationship remain with the appropriate private company.
Prime partnerships
Suppliers and Subcontractors
Does submitting capabilities guarantee work?+
No. Submission does not guarantee a quotation request, selection, award, purchase order, subcontract, or future work.
Will a selected partner contract directly with the Government?+
Normally, no. When NG is prime, selected companies work through NG under written commercial agreements while NG maintains the Government contract relationship.
When can a partner begin performance?+
Only after written authorization and the applicable purchase order or subcontract terms, scope, schedule, documentation, and compliance requirements are confirmed.
Will NG provide consulting to a competitor on the same pursuit?+
No. When NG is pursuing an opportunity as prime, NG does not provide bid-support consulting to a competing bidder for that same opportunity.
Pricing and agreements
Service Terms
Are consulting services charged as flat fees?+
Yes. Public bid-support services use predetermined flat fees. Custom work receives a written fixed-price quote before work begins.
Does one package cover multiple solicitations?+
No, unless the written agreement specifically states otherwise. One engagement applies only to the opportunity identified in the agreement.
Is the preliminary opportunity overview free?+
A short preliminary overview may be provided without charge. It is not a complete solicitation analysis, compliance review, proposal plan, or submission-readiness assessment.
Can work outside the original scope cost more?+
Yes. Major amendments, added volumes, expanded research, added revisions, accelerated deadlines, or new responsibilities may require a separate written flat-fee quote.
Federal compliance and security
Restricted Work and Information
Can an NG administrative professional help with a federal contract?+
Possibly, but not automatically. NG reviews the contract, clauses, security requirements, data restrictions, personnel rules, subcontracting terms, and proposed responsibilities first.
Can standard personnel access CUI, classified information, or Government systems?+
Not through the standard service. Restricted information or systems require separate review, authorization, qualified personnel, appropriate security controls, and all applicable contractual flow-downs. NG may decline the work.
What duties are prohibited?+
NG personnel will not perform inherently governmental functions, act as Government employees, make contracting-officer decisions, sign for the client, establish final bid pricing, make technical or legal certifications, or use unauthorized credentials.
Can NG provide legal, accounting, engineering, bonding, or insurance services?+
No. NG does not provide those licensed or regulated professional services. Clients should use appropriately qualified professionals when required.
